Air working party

The GTMC's members collectively handle some 45% of all scheduled air travel booked in the UK (a higher percentage of business travel air tickets) and this strength means the GTMC has the muscle to tackle key air issues on behalf of both its members and the business traveller.

The Air Working Party aims to work constructively with all airline suppliers on issues that matter to TMCs, their corporate clients and business travellers. Unbundling has been a recent much debated topic and the working party is also keen to make recommendations for best practise in the event of a recurrence of the ash crisis.

Objectives:

• Oversee the relationship with the GTMC’s airline partners
• Agree the GTMC’s lobbying position on air infrastructure
• Review airline strategies, services and fare distribution
