Surface transport working party

The GTMC's Surface Transport Working Party aims to keep abreast of developments within the car rental, road and rail sectors as well as chauffeur drive and airport facilities for business travellers.

Rail has been high on the agenda and the GTMC supports high speed rail and better rail links to airports.  The working party has been particularly active in ensuring TMCs are fully aware of current issues, such as the introduction of bonding as a requirement by ATOC, and is actively involved in ongoing discussions.

Objectives:

• Oversee the relationship with the GTMC’s surface transport partners
• Agree the GTMC’s lobbying position on transport infrastructure
• Review relevant products and services
