Industry Partners

The GTMC represents a diverse range of TMCs and Industry Partners (airlines, GDSs, car-hire, hotels, rail & tech companies) with whom we work to support key business objectives through networking, promotion, strategic and tactical sales and marketing support activities. The GTMC also actively lobby the government on behalf of the business travel industry on key strategic issues e.g. runway capacity, APD, and open-access in the rail industry – based on the core philosophy that business travel should be viewed as an investment and not a cost, given the intrinsic value of face-to-face meetings and the current and future employment opportunities it provides.

The GTMC works with and actively encourages Partnerships throughout all sectors of the business travel industry, and have seen and enjoyed a 30% significant growth in a Partnership programme since 2013. As well as the core benefits of forging closer relationships with our TMC Members, we’ve also seen and are keen to support development of synergies between our Industry Partners throughout all sectors in the ever-changing global trading environment and the ongoing challenges-and opportunities-this presents to businesses large and small, from multi-national to local.

Our unique annual programme of industry-leading conferences and strategy groups facilitates continual dialogue at all levels between our Members and Industry Partners, from senior to operational to front-line booker. Our quarterly economic surveys (available to all Industry Partners) and regular industry surveys give our partners a unique perspective on key macro and micro trends as they happen-and thus a head-start on the competition.
