Business traveller survey

GTMC researches changing business traveller priorities

In late 2009 the GTMC conducted a series of focus groups with business travellers, buyers and TMCs.This was followed by a survey of over 1500 business travellers. The aim was to explore their opinions on the different modes of transport used when travelling for work and to establish their priorities and frustrations. This was followed by a second survey at the end of 2010.

Manifesto

The research was used to develop the GTMC’s Business Travel Manifesto which summarised the key policies that the business traveller wanted to see from the coalition Government in the areas of air, rail, high speed rail and road.

The key findings of both surveys underpin the GTMC's ongoing lobbying activity and have been communicated widely to key backbenchers, advisors, civil servants, shadow ministers and ministers.

Business Traveller Priorities 2011

The GTMC has now published the results of its second annual survey of business travellers' priorities. Read the report and find out what really matters to today's travellers.
