One size does not fit all
One of the few things that GTMC members have in common is that they are full-service TMCs. Otherwise they are a diverse group of companies, of varying sizes, from across the country; each with disparate client bases but all intent on offering the best possible service and value for money to fulfill the needs of the corporate traveller.
Each member company is represented by up to two of its senior directors at regular meetings attended by all members to discuss, and decide actions on, burning issues of the day. It is rare in an organisation of this type for members to meet at such a high level with their peers, who are also their competitors, to address matters which affect the industry as a whole.
The GTMC’s strategy groups are attended by the experts in the relevant field to discuss issues, and find solutions, often by liaising with the GTMC’s key supplier partners.
A very different level of interaction is provided by the innovative Twenty/20 Strategy Group, which consists of the members’ most talented middle management employees from a wide range of roles.
