Re-affirming its position on short terms capacity increase
The Guild of Travel Management Companies (GTMC), the UK’s leading professional industry body representing travel management companies, has published its second Quarterly Review of 2013, showing that business travel does drive economic growth with exports to non-EU markets up as a result of increased business travel.
The GTMC, the most influential travel management business community in the UK, has announced that its Autumn Conference will be held on Monday 28 October at the Park Lane Hotel, with headline speaker Baroness Susan Greenfield CBE.
GTMC chief executive Paul Wait commented following Heathrow’s announcement of their Davies Commission submission recommendations.

GTMC Autumn Conference - 28 October

The campaign is designed to ensure Air Passenger Duty (APD) remains high profile as a damaging tax to exports and to put pressure on the government to recognize the damage being caused to British businesses by this aviation tax and take action to rectify.
