DiamondAir Becomes GBTA Associate
VIP passenger handling company, DiamondAir International has become an associate of the Guild of Business Travel Agents.
The associate category was introduced last year to compliment the Guild's existing partner status in order to enable more suppliers to build closer working relations with GBTA members.
Operating at over 300 airports worldwide, DiamondAir International provides departure, arrival and transit meet and assist services, plus chauffeur drive, private charters and personal protection on request.
“Our client base has typically been within the entertainment and music business. However, as business travel purse strings have tightened, many frequent business travellers and executives are looking for additional services as ‘bolt-ons' to make corporate travel feel like it used to. ” explains Luke Dawson, business development manager, DiamondAir International. “That is where we come into play.
“Our association with the GBTA will act as a platform for communicating our products and services within the business travel community,” adds Dawson. “We look forward to a long relationship with the GBTA.”
Benefits of becoming an associate of the Guild include specific listing on the Guild's website, attendance at major GBTA functions and opportunities to communicate directly with GBTA members and staff.
“We are delighted to welcome DiamondAir International as an associate,” said Philip Carlisle, Chief Executive, GBTA. “Guild members need, for their clients' sake, to maintain close working relationships with a wide range of travel suppliers. The associate status enables a broader range of companies to play a part in the Guild's work.”
Other GBTA associates are Air France, Amadeus, Purple Parking, SN Brussels Airlines, and T&T Recruitment.
