NEW LINE-UP FOR GBTA EXECUTIVE

The GBTA has revealed the new line-up for its Executive Council which comes into effect officially at the Guild's AGM next week.

Richard Lovell (Carlson Wagonlit) takes over from Charles Sommer (World Travel Management) as chairman, but the latter will remain on the Executive for a further two years as immediate past chairman. Stepping into Richard Lovell's current role as deputy chairman will be Adam White (Business Travel Management)

Joining the Executive Council for the first time is GBTA member Richard Furness of Navigant International.

Paul Allan (Ian Allan Travel) and Don Lunn (ATP International) have reached the end of their three-year stint, but both have been re-elected.

Alan Spence (TQ3) continues as treasurer, and other members remain unchanged, namely Michael Hare (Fleet Street Travel), Mike Platt (BTI UK), Graham Flack (Portman Travel), David Whittaker (The Travel Company) and Alan Coles (P&O Travel).
