In its quest to ensure professionalism in the industry the GTMC has, for many years, been involved in the training and qualification of those working in TMCs. It has designed qualifications which are recognised throughout the UK and demonstrate the professionalism of those who hold them.

Whilst many of the larger TMCs now have their own in-house training programmes, the courses supported by the GTMC continue to offer a valuable alternative particularly to those employed in smaller companies who are not in a position to offer as wide a range of courses.
