The GTMCs’ Members currently account for some 80% of business travel spend in the UK, facilitating more than 11 million transactions each year- including the sale of over 6 million air tickets. This strength means the GTMC has the muscle to tackle key air issues on behalf of both its Members and the business traveller. The Air Strategy Group aims to work constructively with all airlines on issues that matter to TMCs, their corporate clients and the business travellers.
- Oversee the relationship with the GTMC’s airline partners
- Agree the GTMC’s lobbying position on air infrastructure
- Review airline strategies, services and fare distribution
Typically, participants in this Strategy Group are Supplier & Account Managers, Reservation Managers, CEO’s and Managing Directors drawn from the GTMC Membership. This group gives you the opportunity to discuss government policies such as APD (Airline Passenger Duty) along with challenging the way some airlines operate.
